The aim of this workshop is to introduce the participant to the strategies and tactics for protecting yourself and your property when there is a threat in your home.
It will offer a comprehensive security plan so that no matter who you are, no matter where you live, you are armed with a plan to defend yourself and home against unwanted intruders.
The workshop clearly addresses: security planning for home invasion and defense, hardening your home, armed and unarmed home defense, home invasion response drills, staging, operational tactics and escape tactics as well as an introduction to handgun and knife disarmament.

Pre-requisites and eligibility
There is no prior experience required to take this workshop. This is fun and easy to learn. The workshop is both academic and practical and will involve some moderate level of fitness for part of the workshop.
What to bring and wear
Whatever you normally wear is fine. Rubber soled shoes or sneakers. If you are a CCW (carrying concealed weapon permit holder), we strongly recommend that you train with a replica/trainer of your handgun as part of this workshop. You may bring a blue/red / inert training gun with holster in the carry position you normally carry. Bring water or other fluids to stay hydrated as well as any snacks you want.
