HIGH RISK WEAPON COUNTERMEASURES

Unarmed Tactics, techniques and procedures for weapon pre-emption and violent attacks with a weapon

The High Risk Weapons Countermeasures Course is an in-depth overview of tactics, techniques and procedures that can be executed for situations involving assault, kidnap, rape, home invasions, car jacking or confronted with an attacker employing a handgun, knife or impact weapon. The main objective of the course is to accelerate the participants level and skills for surviving and prevailing violence involving weapons.

The margin for error when you are engaged in an empty handed situation compared to one in which there is a gun or a knife involved is off the charts!

Each time an incident occurs, there is considerable discussion about “why” this individual committed these despicable acts.  Were they mentally ill?  And how did they get a gun?  People blame guns laws and police for being unprepared, but they can’t be everywhere at all times. While we certainly need to consider these questions, and look for solutions, it is not a matter of “why,” but simply, “when” will it happen again?

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to train weapon countermeasures for firearms, edged weapons and impact weapons. There is no margin for error when dealing with these type hostile situations. The High Risk Weapon Countermeasures  course is applicable to anyone concerned about their safety or for those that work or live in dangerous areas around the world.
