About the workshop
Kidnapping is a huge multi-national business and one that is growing all around the world including the United States! No one is immune from this growing pandemic.
As people have a more global dimension and businesses continue to expand operations internationally, the protection of families, personnel, employees and trade secrets is more critical now than ever before.
This is a very unique comprehensive one day workshop designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to help you prevent, avoid or survive a kidnapping.
Traditionally Anti-Kidnap & Hostage Survival courses were only available to military special operations units, government agency personnel and select companies in the defense sector and individuals such as journalists, however Cantor Tactical has designed this workshop for concerned citizens to meet the unprecedented escalating global criminal and terrorism challenge that we all face.
The workshop addresses: how to respond to a kidnapping event and what to do in the critical first minutes and hours after an incident occurs. The participants will learn about conduct after capture and survival as well as effective kidnap response through a combination of academic and practical ‘hands-on’ elements.

Pre-requisites and eligibility
While there are no pre-requisites for this workshop, please be advised that there are simulations that will be conducted as part of the workshop that involve being in enclosed spaces, being hooded, restrained, and changing clothing.
The practical parts of the program are somewhat physical and psychological, and you must have a moderate fitness level to participate and complete the workshop. If you have a nervous disposition or suffer from anxiety or depression, have a fear of confined spaces, this may not be the ideal workshop for you.
