Historically, tactical mistakes made in warfare typically boil down to “fear” and “panic”. This course strives to pressure test the participants to help them learn to control these impulses that have their foundation in neuroscience. Learning to control those impulses and tendencies is critical to the operator’s ability to act quickly. Correct physical and neurological training teaches orienting responses and sets up behavioral chains that reinforce correct response.

Tactics, Techniques and Procedures including use of force continuum and deadly force guidelines are reviewed and drilled. We use the crawl, walk, run combative training methodology for the program, which ensures a high skill level throughout the group or team and minimizes the risk of training injuries.

The course instruction will incorporate the tactical employment of combative techniques while teaching students how to adapt to different scenarios. We use the walk, crawl, run combative training methodology for the program, which ensures a high skill level throughout and minimizes the risk of training injuries.
During the Crawl Phase, we will introduce core combative competencies to the group, unit or team. This will include striking methods, rapid take-downs and ground fighting techniques and target precision for unarmed man on man engagements.
The Walk Phase begins with edged weapons, handgun and rifle familiarization. TTP’s for defense and offense situations are covered with an emphasis on tactical application and movement. We also review weapon countermeasures for high risk environments.
In the Run Phase, the group is pressure tested employing scenario driven situations involving shooting and non-shooting threats during hostile engagements. The run phase is characterized by combat speed execution with supervision.
